[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Clear display and I love the 34” width. It is very easy to put together, no screwdriver needed. The base is very stable. The monitor does not rotate but can be raised and lowered as needed. it has a “cool” red accent that gives it some flair. Note, that I don’t use it for heavy gaming so I can’t comment on that.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Amazing monitor

The monitor is great. It arrived well packaged and undamaged, with no dead pixels. It came with a displayport cable which is unusual but greatly appreciated. Speakers are great considering that they're inbuilt. I've also found the thunderbolt pass through very useful and it saves me getting adaptors for my mac. There is some quite major backlit bleed in the corners, though it is only noticeable when watching a very dark movie or playing games which are very dark.
The only downsides are the price, which isn't even too bad, considering its quality, features and who they're marketing it at. It would have been nice to have some gaming features such as freesync or gsync, though its not the end of the world, and I would definitely recommend it even for gaming too, as long as you're not playing at a semi-pro level.

Very Nice Display

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The LG 34UC87C-B is a great ultra wide curved display. It is wide enough to look like a two-monitor setup, but without the annoying middle bezels. Can comfortably display multiple windows without sacrificing useful size, or a long timeline if you're editing videos. But the display isn't so big that it looks out of place on your desk. It has height adjustment, which is nice. It has 2 HDMI inputs so you can have two different sources on one monitor and 2 USB 3.0 ports. It even has built-in speakers, which if your audio needs are basic, really cleans up your desk space. It comes factory calibrated and covers 99% of the sRGB color spectrum, so color reproduction is excellent for photo and video editing. Worth the money.
Pros: Style/Design, Features/Settings, Performance, Quality, easy to use
