I purchased the Samsung BD-D5700 as my first blu-ray player with built-in wi-fi and had 18 months enjoyable use of playing discs, Netflix and apps. Suddenly it developed an automatic shut-down and re-start fault which required a service request. Because it's out of warranty, I expect charges for the service, not to mention the lack of a player for a period of time. Considering the original purchase price of the BD-D5700, it does not seem to be worth repairing and I'm seriously considering buying a new player as soon as possible. Samsung? Possibly
Pros: Inexpensive
Cons: Did not meet expectations
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The best I have ever used. Samsung is on the cutting edge of tech always it seems to me . . .
Pros: Bright display, Inexpensive, Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight, small size

Netflix,Pandora,Hulu apps missing

My BD-D5700/5700ZA did include this apps on its factory settings, no reset of any kind corrects that, no way to get them. I used the chat once. Be sure to check this details when you purchase, total disappointment.
