I like this Blu-ray so far the one major flaw is the disk tray, its noisy and spring loaded. Other wise no complaints about it.
Pros: Bright display, Inexpensive, apps, wireless
Cons: disk tray

My first BlueRay player and my first Samsung. I flund the loading to be slow and the SmartHub to be balky. Otherwise I am pleased.

I have had issues with this device from day one. I use my Blu-ray player frequently to stream movies, watch DVDs, and listen to Pandora. Issues I have had with this player on numerous occasions: (1) freezes in LOAD mode when first turned on, (2) no sound after start-up, have to reboot several times for sound to work for DVDs or streaming, (3) trouble updating, (4) Netflix menu slow to load titles, and (5) overall sluggish Smart Hub. The unit's mechanics are loud, especially when you first turn on the Blu-ray player. Another feature I don’t like is when you turn on the device it will automatically start playing a DVD if one is left in the tray – I would prefer to go directly to the menu and choose my own options.
I LOVE all my Samsung TVs so I had high hopes for this Blu-ray... very disappointed.

Cons: Poor quality, Did not meet expectations, aggravating

Great value. Only problem I ever have had with Netflix. Rebuffers quite a bit and sometimes fails to rebuffer and you have to exit what you were watching.
Pros: Inexpensive

This is our very 1st blu-ray player. It was very easy to set up & use right out of the box! We love it so far!
