Slow Performance

In a world of instant messaging this product is still using teletype. From the time it takes to wake up, to the time it takes to open the drawer, to the time it takes read the disk, to the time it takes to offer up web choices, this player is SLOW. Once it gets there it works, but don't expect to respond to any request instantly.

Has some problems

Works fine for DVDs, although has annoying delays when try to do fast forward and similar commands. “Last memory” often doesn’t work, and when it does only works for a disc in the unit (not the prior 5 or 10 discs as is the case for other players). With blu-ray, won’t play some discs unless firmware is totally up to date and difficult to update firmware, especially via wireless connection.
Pros: Inexpensive, Realistic color
Cons: Poor quality, Did not meet expectations, slow commands, difficult to upgrade firmware
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great Value for money

An awesome player with great features for high quality movie experience.
Nothing to complain about. Value for money right on the table. The only two reason for my 4 star rating is the rare but still annoying slow responsiveness of the player and no built in amplifier to connect home theater system.
The only thing i would like to have in player like this would be to support any audio/video codecs. While using usb player with latest formats of the files they dont seem to support all the formats.
Samsung, If you can keep pushing the latest codecs to such players supporting media format files to also support all the codecs. That will be great.
Pros: Durable, Lightweight, features
Cons: does not have built in amplifier, sometimes slow responsiveness

Favorite DVD Player!

Great DVD player. Loaded with great features and extras, can get online, YouTube, Netflix, a little bit of everything. And the iPad/iPod remote control app is outstanding.

I wouldn't buy again

This works fine once the blu ray disc is playing. Navigating is slow, you'll click then have to wait with the remote. Watching over wi fi with netflix is impossible. Our wireless router is in the next room and the player can't keep up. I would spend more and get a faster player next time.
