Works excellent. No problem finding my router. Blu-ray is crystal clear on our Insignia HDTV.
Pros: Bright display, Realistic color

Have had a lot of trouble with this unit.

I have had a lot of trouble with this unit.
Networking stops working and then you have to reset the unit back to original factory settings and start all over again.
this has happened three times.
and then one time I was playing a blu-ray and had to pause it. came back and the screensaver had come on. but when i started the blu-ray back up the screensaver would leave the top half of the screen. and the disc video was all jumpy.

Good Features with Some Performance Issues

PIcked this up when my previous player was done. Smart Hub features are cool, useful and easy to use. Remote upgrades and design are good. However, the player origianlly was able to connect with my modem via LAN line and/or wirelessly with no trouble but less than a month into my ownership of the player it constantly has connect difficulties. I first thought it was the network service but all my other wireless devices work fine. It has also started to fast forward on its own at random times, almost like skipping. I'll probably be upgrading to the newer version of this player the E5700 in the hopes that they've worked out the bugs, because as I said everything but a few performance issues is great.
Pros: Inexpensive, Realistic color, Lightweight
Cons: Poor quality, Did not meet expectations
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Player, Yes. Streamer, No

Plays everything I throw at it very nicely.
As a Streamer for Netflix though the built in WiFi I have to give it a fail. Constant rebuffering and spurious disconnects from 10' from Q1000 DSL service (40 down 5 up)
Pros: Bright display, Inexpensive, Realistic color
Cons: Did not meet expectations
