Features Inspired Another Samsung

I was so impressed with the content that Samsung offers that I bought another Samsung. I already had one brand in the family room. When I decided to buy a 2nd unit, I 1st made the mistake of buying a different brand, by comparison, was like buying a child's toy compared to Samsung's. The features and content are no comparison. Samsung wins this hands down.
Pros: Inexpensive, Lightweight, features

Installation Nightmare!!

I had the Blu-Ray player installed professionally installed and initially it worked. Within an hour the video screen was solid turquoise when attempting to play internet video. After two call to support and multiple attempts to re-install it, including a return visit from the installation professional that cost another $50, it is now working properly. I was told by the store where I bought the player that it had all the same features as a more expensive 3D model. It doesn't. It does not support all the movie streaming applications that I wanted.
Cons: Did not meet expectations, difficult to install
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Good Player with WiFi

I have used this in my fifth wheel along with my new Samsung 40" HDTV and they work great together. I highly recommend that folks buy the same manufacturer's products so they can talk to each other and be compatible. Samsung does this well. I have not had the opportunity yet to try the WiFi feature which is one of the reasons I bought this model.
Pros: wifi, blu-ray, samsung to match my hdtv

Netflex app never works! as all others do.

I have no network problem as I use Pandora etc. but the netflix app only worked once since I set it up 5 months ago.
Also it is very wide. Wider that any of my other components.
Cons: Too big, Did not meet expectations, all apps dont work even after updates!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

didnt realize u had to have a flash drive to download n e updates to it

Not ready for prime time

Great idea about streaming apps but just does not execute well, probably need more computing power. It will lock up requiring a complete power disconnect and will freeze during stream sometimes. My streaming experience is 85% ok and 15% hair pulling. The blu ray portion is excellent no problems. Disclosure: my first streaming device.
Pros: Inexpensive, Lightweight
Cons: no external reset button
