Excellent blu-ray player

We also own Samsung BD-P3600, which works great but makes more noise and slower to load up blu-ray movies than this BD-D5700. This player is quieter and noticeably faster on load up times, now promoted to living room, with older model in our bedroom. Neat touch-screen buttons on front face, unlike older model which were on top and hard to see. No quality issues, all works as it should and no glitches playing movies. We use WiFi feature for Pandora all the time, no problems there either.
Pros: Bright display, Inexpensive, Durable, buttons located better

Love the sleek design

I have two of these and really like the ease of use and the internet connectivity. Does an excellent job streaming Netflix movies.

Love the design of the blu-ray player for the cost!

Recieved this blu-ray player this past christmas from a friend after he had purchased his earlier that year. Once again I'm impressed with the quality of Samsung's product. I'm an avid samsung user, so any device that i usually purchase if I can find it with the Samsung logo on it in the store that's usually my first choice.

I don't have cable so I use this dvd player to stream Netflix and for dvd's. Occasionally the SmartHub takes a bit too long to load but otherwise I love it.

Very good blu-ray player.

The BDD_5700 is a very nice player. It is the first Samsung product I have ever bought and I am very pleased. I purchased it because of the Blockbuster app. The app does not work properly. You cannot pause, stop, or do anything with the remote while streaming a movie. I tried the Cinema Now app,and it works perfectly. Also, using a disk, the player performs extremely well. I will use Samsung products in the future. As a matter of fact, I'm thinking of buying a Galaxy Notepad in the near future. Thank you a lot. I guess wanting Blockbuster introduced me to Samsung. Even though the app was a flop, Samsung sure wasn't.
Pros: Bright display, Inexpensive, Lightweight, easy to setup

Purchased my unit after christmas this was my first blu-ray and I have very satisfied with the performance and clarity of my regular DVD's. Blu-ray DVD's are exceptional the sound effects are theater quality. Wouldn't trade my unit for the world.
