Great Product from features to value

Love this Blue Ray/DVD Network player. Having all of the capabilities of a smart TV without the high price is exactly what every house needs. If you are a movie, music or lets just say media enthusiast, then this is for you all the way. Stream anything and everything from your home network computers, laptops, smartphones, tablets... You name it! If it is media and you want to view or hear it on your home entertainment center... Well now you can! Incredidible apps, internet capability, games. Samsung has outshined the compitition!
Pros: Bright display, Inexpensive, Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight, versatile

It's a great tool to watch blu ray moveis and watch hulu and vudu if you want to watch movies!!

Great player once you have all the information

This player easily connected to our home wifi in a matter of a minute or two. However, streaming content from our computer to the device gave us trouble. I continually received an error message when trying to access the home video's on our home pc. The player recognized the home network and the computer, but not the content. After several frustrating hours of searching online for answers (this issue is not addressed in the user manual) we finally found a reviewer who mentioned software. I went to http://www.samsung.com/global/allshare/pcsw/index.html and downloaded the Allshare PC S/W software (free) to my pc. After HOURS of it searching the computer for content, the player was able to find and play content streamed through wifi from my pc. I didn't have to do anything IN the software I downloaded, I just had to download it to the computer. It will play our .AVI files and our .MKV files but will not play .WMV files. These will have to be converted to play through the blu ray player. Our photos come through nicely too.
I WISH someone had mentioned the need for this software - such as IN THE USER MANUAL!!!!!! But, after all the frustration, it seems as if it's working great. The picture is really clear also. I have not played any dvd's or blu ray disks yet. I just bought this device yesterday and have spent all my waking hours since, trying to stream content from my pc! Most reviews for dvd and blu ray playback are very favorable though. For the price I paid, it has lots of features. I haven't used most of them all yet, such as netflix. But, I like that those features are available!
The other "complaint" I have is that there is only one set of A/V out and no A/V in. You can't connect to your tv through your directv reciever. My player is plugged into the A/V in spot on the front of my tv. Not what I wanted, but it works. My old DVD recorder had no issues with this.
There may be another way to connect the tv, blu ray player and directv receiver together, but I have spent so much time trying to stream content (wihtout the knowledge of needing the software) that I just gave up and plugged into the front of the tv. It is a bit big, length-wise. It's very slim as far as how "tall" it is. But it's "wide". It's extreamly light-weight.
If you have an older tv, the screen menu fonts are very small. I have to either just know where I'm going with my remote or stand fairly close to the tv. I know this is because it's not connected to a big screen HDTV. Overall this is a good device - especially for the price.

We have not had this product long, about two weeks but so far it is great.I really like the blue ray features and picture. It is nice having wireless and seeing a great picture.

The only gripe I have is that the player sometimes comes on forcing my TV to switch to the HDMI source when I am watching regular TV. Sometimes this happens several times before it finally figures out that you don't want to watch a BLU RAY disc right now. I guess it gets lonely sometimes.

I like this product a lot, but the Hub takes FOREVER to load. But once everything finally loads, it looks and works great.
Pros: Inexpensive, Realistic color
Cons: very slow to load
