Great device BD-D5700

The BD-D5700 was easy to set up right out of the box. The wireless system connected on the very first attempt. The player then spent about 10 minutes updating. The connection to Netflix/Pandora/etc. took a little bit of time as my computer and the device were in different rooms - you will be well served to have them in the same room to save time writing down codes for the various services that then must be entered on the home page of that particular product. All features that I have attempted to use have worked without issue. The player loads and plays quickly (DVD's... no blurays yet). The smarthub is nice - HOWEVER entering information via the remote is a pain. You must also have the remote to load a disk. Streaming works great (Netflix/Youtube........) with lots of aps to download. Overall a very nice player.
I would recommend this to a friend!

this product is very sleak, and has many great features. Not only was the cost low to purchase this, but it totaly can outperform other bluerays for the price. altogether i am over satisfied with my product.
Pros: Bright display, Inexpensive, Lightweight
Cons: no web browser
I would recommend this to a friend!

The product is easy to set up (I am running wireless). The picture quality is excellent. I am running the audio bitstream (unprocessed) through my A/V receiver, and it souds excellent. I bought this model to stream Blockbuster movies, and found it does a whole lot more!

What a wonderful 2011 Christmas gift? Has a network feature that is awesome ;) Who knew.. you can watch movies and listen to music saved on my PC. Been enjoying this product for the last 2 days. May not be able to live without (lol)

I had no idea that dvd players had the capability of all the different applications. Its cool that you don't really even need a disk to play anything.
