Cool features but runs slow

This is the second Samsung Blu-ray player I have had issues with. Both stopped working shortly after purchase (within 6 months). First one was sent back and fixed.
Pros: Inexpensive, Lightweight
Cons: Poor quality
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I had problems

I had to return mine. Every disc I played in it messed up. It would hang up at one spot on any disc, even 6 brand new one's. I traded it in for a different brand. I do love Samsung. I have a monitor that I've had for almost 5 years that still works and looks like brand new. The blu ray player I had was just a bad one. I only got a different brand for more internet access.

I am very satisfied with this player. I love the apps, however I would like to see more, especially one for Amazon Prime Video On Demand.

Great display, easy to use, set up painless except for alpha input loads of apps, many not fully developed. Worked grate with netflix, internet speed affects unit only on high definition.

i like being able to play movies from my external hard drive

i use my external hard drive to watch movies on my player. the all share program really helps so i dont have to move the hard drive around. i like this product so much i bought another 1 for my house so we all can watch diffrent movies at the same time using all share. samsung could have better apps available for free, it seems like this is a new technology & in time they will improve alot of the features that have kinks.
Pros: Bright display, Inexpensive, Realistic color, many features for the price
Cons: disconnects from internet sometimes for no reason, takes too long to type information in could use, a keyboard on the remote
