Bought this to use as a temp so I could get net flix on my 55' Samsung TV while my Samsung Home Theater was gett repaired for a firmware problem ( I thought) as it turns out my Home theater did not have a problem. Samsung paid for the issue and the unit was 6 months out of warranty. It ended up being that I connected an inferior USB extenction cabble to get better signal. I would recomend Samsung for any product thet make. I also have a Samsung Refrigerator and another Samsung Smart TV on the way
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight, may cost a bit more but you get what you pay for!

Blu-ray player will not Blu-ray discs

I originally gave this item a great review. In fact, I liked it so much, that I purchased a second one for my bedroom. It has plenty of web based features and makes for a beautiful picture.
BUT, beware of poor firmware updates. The 2 latest firmware updates now make it virtually impossible to play Blu-ray discs. I now have 2 Blu Ray players that are nothing more that DVD players. The only Blu-rays that it will play are very old ones. It seems that Samsung's latest firmware has taken a MAJOR step backwards.
Pros: Bright display, Realistic color, Lightweight, features
Cons: Did not meet expectations, does not play blu-rays only dvd's
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Very easy to operate. The design is simple and very light. I haven't come across any problems with the product

I am trying to move away from cable and get everything I need through Internet Apps this will help save money.

Dont buy Samsung Blu Ray. It constantly had trouble with netflix. It had great deal of difficulty connecting to networks. It would even play blu ray discs. So I took it back and got another one. It was just as bad. I replaced it with another brand. It works beautifully. I have a Samsung TV. I love it. Don't bother with a the blu ray player.
Pros: got rid of it
Cons: Poor quality, Did not meet expectations, source of frustration
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
