I finally updated from my old DVD to the Samsung BluRay and should have done it a long time ago. It is easy to use and if you want to watch a Netflix movie all you have to do is press the Netflix button on the remote control and you have your Netflix screen with all of the movies in my quere ready to select. It has many apps and plays internet radio. I would definitely recommend this product.
Pros: Bright display, Durable, Lightweight
I would recommend this to a friend!

This Blu-Ray Player was extremely easy to set up, the only problem was the amount of time it took to download the updates, but that may have been a problem with my internet. I like the app features and look forward to additional apps becoming available in the future. The amount of space available on the player seems to be pretty small, and I'm not sure if you can increase the amount of available space by inserting a flash drive.
Playback is really good, and the app available for smart phones that allows you to control the blu-ray player over wi-fi is a nice feature, especially when it comes to typing in information for the various setup and app features.
Pros: Lightweight, cool smart phone app
Cons: needs more storage space.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I am blown away at what this unit can do compared to just a plain old DVD player. The set up went smoothly and after pushing a small button on my router I was on the Internet. This unit is not the ultimate by far, but it is much more than I expected. I've had this for about a week now and have used it more than the last DVD player. Great quality for such a low price.
I wanted a Blu-ray player that had "Built-In" WiFi. I wanted to be able to instantly stream movies and listen to free music. This model has everything that I wanted in a Blu-ray player. Was extremely easy to set up and easy to operate. Perfect for me!!! I have reccomended this unit to a friend of mine and he will be getting one from Santa. Would reccomend it to everyone.
Insert your DVD or Blue Ray Disk and wait. And wait. And wait. Its really slow to load a disk.
Or turn it on and surprise you have a software upgrade that automatically installs and you get to wait, and wait, and wait. My Blueray player shouldn't need a software upgrade.
Did I mention that its slow. So far I haven't been able to make any apps work.
Cons: so slow
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The Blu-ray player has been back to Samsung twice due to issues playing Blu-ray movies. We’re having issues getting beyond the Blu-ray disc main menus, after previews, etc. We’re unable to play the blu-ray film. If we unplug the player for 30 seconds the memory is cleared and blu-ray movies work normally again. All standard DVDs work fine, no issues.
