Great Blu-Ray player...great value

Love this player. Makes my standard definition DVD's look fantastic. Blu-Ray disks load quickly, and after a Firmware update look great.
Still run into the occasional firmware-related Blu-Ray issues (audio / lip synch, sound drop); but a quick rewind or pause usually brings things back in synch. More of an annoyance than anything else.
Wireless is a plus; but a wired player seems to perform much better with the available apps (Pandora, BlockBuster, etc...).
Well worth the money. Great value.
Pros: Inexpensive, great picture quality, makes dvd's look fantastic
Cons: still have issues with some months old bd movies.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I bought the samsung BD-D5700, because I love both of my samsung tv's. This one is for the front room, and I wanted to get the internet function built in so that I can get Pandora, and maybe netflicks. It is straight out of the box set up easy. If you can text, you can follow the log in screen. The picture really is amazing. Looking forward to buying some of my favorite movies now on blue ray.
Pros: Bright display, Realistic color

Second Samsung Blu-ray player and I love them both. I use the wireless feature to access Netflix more than I watch DVDs or Blu-ray discs and it works extremely well if you have a proper Internet connection (something better than DSL).
Pros: Bright display, Realistic color, Lightweight

This player needs more RAM memory. Sometimes it freezes under internet load and you simply have to reboot the machine. The design is flawless and functionality is good. It will play applications well such as Netflix, but it still lacks RAM. Apps will play better with more support. Overall it is a good product.

This is my second Blu-Ray player. This player has built in wifi so it links with my wireless router, which is a great plus. The apps are another bonus.
