I love this blue-ray dvd player. I love its connectivity to portable hardrives, flash pen drives and its ability to play multiple video and audio formats. Saves me a lot of file conversion time! It also has great connectivity to my home network. I love watching YouTube and HULU videos on this unit. Best birthday gift I received in a LONG TIME!!
Pros: Bright display, Inexpensive, Durable, Realistic color

I bought this Blue ray Player for my family room upstairs. Since, we enjoy watching movies and listening to music while we relax and/or eat around our breakfast room.
It works great for the times we sit around upstairs and watch television together. My wife has been getting into the 80's music mood and she loves the Pandora feature which she uses most everyday.
Thanks for another amazing Blue ray player from Samsung. :)
Pros: Bright display, Inexpensive, Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight, internet connected, wireless and wired connections

We have not had it long enough, but we played a Blueray movie, and it was just a terriffic picture. Vivid color's and with the sound bar it was great sound.
Pros: Inexpensive, Durable, Lightweight

You don't need a Masters to set this up. Great for the non tech savy and the built in wi-fi is great.
Pros: Bright display, Inexpensive, easy to set up!
Cons: Not high def

Constantly have to unplug and reset.....

I purchased this product with many reccomendations of the Samsung brand. I was reluctant having owned all Sony products. I have to say I am very dissapointed. At least once a week I have to unplug and reset it because I either have sound and no picture or a picture and no sound. It's very annoying. I've tried using a different HDMI chord, and a different input on my tv with no difference. Other issues include: Netflix not always starting up from the Netflix button, and half of the time I have to sign in which is not the easiest with a remote. And finally, another very annoying feature is that, if there is a movie in the player it auto starts and you cannot disable the auto start feature. Definitely not a fan of this product.
Cons: Poor quality, Did not meet expectations
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

So far, it looks nice. As I went to remove the protective plastic layer, the disc door that flips down, is so flimsy and cheaply made, the little plastic tab that grabs onto a bar on the left side, to allow it to flip down, broke off. It was so weak that the minimal amount of force necessary to peel off the plastic was more than this piece could handle.
Pros: Bright display, Inexpensive, Realistic color
Cons: Poor quality, Did not meet expectations, cheap plastic parts
