Carry anywhere easily

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like the fact that you can cook in this and then use as a serving dish. The locking lid works great so you don't have to worry about spills.
The 7 quart size is nice for larger families as you can cook larger meals in it. I cooked a 4lb roast with potatoes, mushrooms, and carrots with no problem. Started in the morning on low and cooked up nice and tender by supper. I would highly recommend this product.

Stay Or Go Great Traveling Slow Cooker

After receiving and unpacking my new Hamilton Beach slow cooker I gave it a though wash so it would be ready the next day when I fixed dinner.
We use slow cookers weekly and when I was given the chance to evaluate this model with a latch lid it was like a dream come true. The first time I used this new slow cooker I made a large batch of chili and as I expected it came out perfect. The only thing that I had to get used to is when you open the lid to stir the contents or add ingredients is that the lid is hinged and depending on the cooking cycle the steam comes out all at once from the front. The hinged lid is a great idea and one of my pet peeves is when you take the the lid off a conventional slow cooker you always have to find a place for the lid and it usually gets placed on the counter which will leave a mess. I have 2 other slow cookers and each of them have conventional lids that do not fit tightly and depending on the meal you are preparing and sometimes the food does not travel well. I have made different dish for work or different family functions it was always a hit or miss weather the slow cooker food would make the distance without a mess. The latching lid is a perfect solution for the spilling problem and I will be trying this feature out when we have our holiday potluck at work in a couple of weeks.

So great!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am so happy with this slow cooker. It’s a really good sized one. But not to big that it’s in the way. It seals so good with the clip. The sides pull up so you can carry it. Or you can just keep them down and they are out of the way. I love how when you open it the lid stays on and just folds back. It makes the food perfect. It was so easy to clean out. You can put a liner if you want to but you don’t have to. The settings are off, warm, low and high. The settings are perfect. When your food is done and you can’t eat right away just put it on warm and it keeps your food perfect. The knob is very good and solid. Not hard to turn but not easy.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this Hamilton Beach Slow Cooker and agreed to write a review for the product. I love it! I love the size of the slow cooker. The 7 quart cooker allows you to cook so many different things. I have cooked chili, roast beef and soup and everything has turned out great.
The design of the slow cooker allows you to take it with you and you know the top is on to stay. The only thing that caused concern for me was the way this top opens you have all of the steam coming out on your hands.
Otherwise I am enjoying using the slow cooker.
