No handle

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After placing a whole chicken into the pot and putting on the lid I found I really didn't like the lock down hinge on the lid. ( Cold it was easy to put on. Hot not so easy even with a Mitt to get off as steam still got my arm briefly not burn but almost did.) It would be better with a upper handle and no hinge as the clamps and rubber seal work well together. It did cook the chicken faster than my other hamilton beach crock pot without the clamps and rubber seal. It was also more flavorful. The temperature knob I love more then my other crock pot times controls. Over all I cant help but give it 4 stars because of the hinge. Would be better without it and a handle which would give it a 5 star rating.

FAMILY SIZE SLOW COOKER

I COOKED A 7 1/2 POUND CHICKEN WITH CARROTS, ONIONS AND CELERY, LET IT COOL DOWN SNAPPED THE LID CLOSED AND TOOK IT IN MY CAR TO OUR DAUGHTERS APARTMENT. WE THEN WARMED IT UP IN SAME SLOW COOKER. CLEANS VERY EASY WITH REMOVABLE INSERT. ONLY ONE SMALL PROBLEM: IF YOU LIVE IN A SMALL APARTMENT OR HAVE A SMALL KITCHEN, IT TAKES UP A LOT OF COUNTER SPACE. HAVE TO STORE IT IN THE CABINET UNDER THE SINK. A SMALLER VERSION OR TALLER AND LESS CIRCUMFERENCE ONE.WOULD FIT A SMALLER AREA. AGAIN, THE SNAP DOWN LID IS A GREAT FEATURE.. IF YOU GOT THE SPACE IT IS A GREAT SLOW COOKER

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this crockpot. The hinged lid is awesome! No more finding a spot to set the lid. Just simply open and stir. The crockpot also has a wonderful even temperature for cooking. It makes the most delicious and tender roast. I like it’s durability and strong construction so that I know it will last a long time. Cleaning is fast and easy. Definitely recommend!

It’s not my first cooker, but I have to say it’s now my favorite! The lid attaches and removes easily and the handles fold down out of the way. I made sweet and sour pork which came out so tender! It heated up in a timely manner. Clean up was easy.

Basic slow cooker

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Pros: 7 qrt. is nice size, removable stoneware insert easy to clean, side carry handles convenient. Cons: No on/off light, no separate lid handle, only the Stay or Go latch which is made of molded plastic - not sure of longevity. This was a promotion for a review.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The first thing I noticed was how nice this slow cooker looked on my countertop. The lid is attached on one side so you can seal it for travel and it also detached from the base for a complete cleaning. It has all the settings you need including Keep Warm. It is large enough to take to family get togethers or making a large beef roast at home.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This slow cooker is a must have! It not only locks the lid into place for easy transporting but also has a rubber seal along the lid to lock in the moisture while cooking. I found this cooks in less time than most slow cookers, so needed to shorten cooking time. My roast and potatoes came out so juicy and tender. Love the fold away handles. Will definitely recommend this to all my family and friends. Only thing I wish it had was a power light to remind you that it is on.
