Can not believe

i callled to see about purchasing the decal for my cooktop and was told that i could not purchase that by itself that i would need to buy the WHOLE TOP for 500.00 plus.. i can not believe that cost me more that 1299.99 would have a decal logo that i could not purchase by itself.. unreal..
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great stove top

This is a wonderful gas top. The burners light quickly and there is a smooth change from high to low. It is easy to clean. Service is wonderful too. I broke one of the grates and it was replaced without question.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Good but could be better

The cooktop was easy to install and set up and it looks great.
The control could be smoother though. As the knobs are rotated the flame size does not vary as consistently as it should. Starting at minimum and rotating CCW causes the flame to increase for a while but then it decreases as the knob is rotated further before increasing smoothly to maximum.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Nice range

We installed our new 30'' range easily in the existing hole in the granite countertop ( with a small bit of chipping in the corners, but nothing visible) . I adjusted the low flame settings. It works fine, plenty of heat on high, but the lowest flame level , even with a flame "lee ducker" is a little too high for low simmering. Even with a large pot. We may use a second flame reducer.. My wife took a Long time to get used to the range, but my "foodie" son loves it.

not overly impressed

I grew up with electric stoves, this is my first gas. Our installer didn't install properly so my initial dislike was due to that. The cooktop seems very difficult to control/regulate the temperature, it's either up really high or almost non-existent. This may just take some getting used to switching from electric to gas. The burners do take some time to light and I don't like that!
