okay cooktop

this appliance was installed in March 2011. Five months later the knobs needs replacing because the lettering is fading and missing in spots. Also, the electronic light on 18,000 BTU burner does not work consistently. Other than this, it's easy to cook on and easy to clean.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Design Flaw - wish I could return it.

A first glance - it was just what I needed. Since I had limited space I wanted the full grate desing, it was a name brand that I had great results with in the past, and the price was right on. Now the issues -
You desinged a heavy burner in the front with a good size flame. Great - but you can't put a large skillet on it at it at high heat or it melts the handles. Yep.... mine are already damaged.
Though I followed your cleaning instructions to the tee..... it has already etched and looks bad... I cook at least two meals every day... and this is just not a good design or a sustainable product for heavy use. Not a happy customer.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Gas Cooktop in SC

This is an awesome cooktop. It was a little difficult for the technician to install the jets because of it being such a new product. Overall, I wouldn't have anything else. I switched to gas because of the convienence of gas over electric. This cooktop looks beautiful on my granite countertop.

Excellent Product with one tiny flaw

Gas burners do not clog easily. Clean up is a breeze. Grates are nice and heavy which means your pots/pans do not wobble around. Knob control is smooth. I would recommend this product to friend.
Tiny Flaw: the knobs' finish has started to flake :'(
I don't cook often, so I would hope the finish would last longer. The cook top is carefully cleaned with appropriate cleaning agents only.

Fantastic!

We grew up using gas cooktops, but when we purchased our new home the previous owner had installed an electric cooktop. After researching many different models and brands we selected the Electrolux 30" Gas Cooktop. My wife and I have been thrilled with the performance and friends are constantly commenting about how great it looks in our kitchen! We highly recommend this product.

Combination of Elegance and Functionality

Our electrolux gas stove provided the functionality and elegance that compliments the comfort of our home. In addition, it is built and accessorized to assure safety and provide the ultimate joy of cooking. Im glad that close neighbors are in agreement. Come next spring our appliance will all be upgraded to Electrolux make.
