Beautiful - Sleek - Functional

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been extremely pleased with my new cook top - not only is it beautiful and sleek in its design but it boils water extremely fast and gives me a very useful cooking area to work with. I have only used it for about 3 weeks but have really enjoyed it.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Nice cooktop

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Builder’s choice. Nice features, though would rather not have redundant power buttons requiring full unit to be powered up before powering up individual burners. Perfectly adequate in all other ways, however.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Big Headache

Only six months old. The cooktop displays an E11 error message if moisture comes in contact with the cooktop or if pressure is applied to certain areas (EX: placing a pot or wiping the surface) The E11 message can only be cleared and the alarm can only be silenced by flipping off the breaker switch for the house. I was told the Lock button needs to be on, but that is not the answer when you are cooking.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great cooktop!

Love that knobs are gone...touch controls.
Love the ability to control size of burners.

Cons;
very sensitive, there is a lock, but the timer keeps coming on...possessed!!!

Great cooktop but... new error code

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve had this cooktop for two years without any problems. And then this happens (see the picture). Error code SF. The manual does not describe this error code. That is my complaint. I would think for the price of this cooktop the manual should desueach and every error code.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Really sorry I bought this garbage

It scratches very easily. Very difficult to clean and now after about a year one burner is bad. Only comes on high and heat can't be adjusted. I would never recommend an electrolux cooktop.
