Ease of Use!

I bought this in August and love cooking with it! The burners are extremely well-placed - one of the key reasons I purchased this. It heats quickly, cooks evenly, and locks when I'm not cooking so if the cats decide to hop up, they can't inadvertently turn on the cooktop. I would definitely buy this again!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The only thing that I have noticed so far is when cleaning and wipe over timer button it comes on and no way to just turn off without holding button until it goes to 00.

Love this cooktop

We had to replace our old cooktop and we searched high and low for a new one that would suit our needs and that would fit properly. This is the only one that was large enough to cover the existing space. It is beautiful, I love the frame around it. It makes it look elegant. I also love that the large burners are in the front, as most of the time when I am using large pots, I have to frequently stir the ingredients. You don't want to constantly have to put your arm over other hot pots to do the stirring. It took a bit to get used to the digital controls, but I especially like the lock feature so that when I am cleaning the stove I don't accidently turn it on when wiping over the panel. All in all, I would say it is a quality stove that also looks sleek and beautiful in any kitchen. Also, I love the double and triple burners - so versatile. We are very happy to have this stove.

Beautiful with fast heat!

We replaced a 1985 Thermador electric cooktop with the Electrolux 36" with downdraft ventilation. The unit arrived expertly packaged. The installation instructions were accurate and well written and the installation was fairly easy for an average handyman. We love the touch controls, the layout, the variable sized elements, and the speed with which it heats. The only downside is needing to be more careful about spilling but that is the same for any ceramic cooktops.
