Love my Electrolux Gas Cooktop

I am completely happy with my new Electrolux Gas Cooktop. I had an electric cooktop before and now I have complete control over the heat under my pans. It cleans up very easily and looks beautiful in my kitchen.

Cooking To The Next Level

I have never cooked with gas prior to this cooktop and I have loved the experience! This cooktop is very substantial and takes my kitchen to a new level. I did some serious research before "kicking it up a notch"! The grates are VERY heavy, which I really like! The grates also have a nice design and don't look like a spider! As silly as that sounds; that design feature was VERY important to me as I do NOT like spiders! I also really like the options it gives and by that I mean the burners are not all one size. I am especially happy with the simmer feature which has enabled me to leave a large pot of soup to simmer for a few hours without it worrying about it. Anyway, if you should choose this Electrolux model, I hope you enjoy it as much as I do!

Wonderful stove...just needs one minor upgrade

I've wanted a gas cooktop for years, especially a 36." When I chose Electrolux ovens, it made sense to also look at the gas cooktop, too. I loved the design, the deep well, the 5 burners, with the large central burner and the ease of moving a large pot from one burner to another. The only feature lacking is a light that indicates whether a particular burner is on. I have left the burner almost but not quite off a few times, and smelled gas as a result. Other than that one feature, this is a great cooktop, looks great in my kitchen, and cooks food fast or slow, depending on my command!

Overall Good

Love the layout of the burners and especially the simmer burner. The grates are nice and heavy and easy to clean (just put them in the dishwasher) Not so impressed with then Stainless Steel part as it has stained from the gas heat and I can get it clean.

Prefer cooking on gas, so when the old electric cooktop that came with the house died, I upgraded to this. I love how I can slide a pan over the surface smoothly, the different level of BTUs available on different burners, and the space between the burners. Read some other reviews before I bought, and yes the center burner does click a while before it starts and the stainless steel can scratch if your not careful, but overall I've had no problems.
