Love almost everything about this cooktop ...

Have had it for over 12 years and our singular complaint is the control knobs. over time they fail. I am a retired product designer, with an engineering background. The design of the knobs is too complex for what they are and the plastic piece that surrounds the metal shaft of the control fatigues and cracks over the years.
The amount of torque, with normal use, generated at the shaft is minimal and the knobs should not fail as they do. The price of the replacement knobs is astronomical!

I brought this a month ago and I’m so happy I did. I absolutely love this stainless steel cooktop so much I can’t stop using it. By far one of the best investments I’ve made to update my home.

Burner Knobs damage

DON'T buyt this. This is a cheap quality product. My new home has the Electrolux stove and in 4 years 2 of the burner knobs damaged. I have never seen a cook top which has issues in just 4 years. I see the same issue with so many people in my community.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great features and look

We bought a new house with all Electrolux appliances.
The stove is great with a very large/oversized burner- bringing large pots of water to a quick boil.
And all the appliances look like they match our modern house.

Cooking with Gas, Again

We had gas range top for 27 years until we bought this home.Wife is extremely happy with her new Gas cooktop and was overjoyed when it was installed before Thanksgiving. . She had been using electric cooktop for past 7 years. Love the design and easy access to clean stainless steel. The heavy duty cast iron grills ... excellent quality product.
