Dishwasher Review

I bought this dishwasher along with several other Electrolux appliances while doing a kitchen remodel. This is the worst appliance I've ever owned!!! The first one leaked all over my new floors. The dishwasher does not dry anything-everything come out soaking wet. One of the features mentioned is a Luxury-Dry system "get outstanding results for all your dishes" My dishwasher does not have this feature. I have read the manual a dozen times to no avail. Very disappointed! I have owned the dishwasher for approx. 6 weeks.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Also, we suggest that your incoming water temperature be at least 120 degrees Fahrenheit at the sink closest to your dishwasher before starting your wash cycle. two major breakdowns; lousy service

Bought this for my elderly parents. Two major breakdowns in first 18 months. The service company (subcontractor to Electrolux) has been back four times. First they misdiagnosed the problem; then the parts were not available. The house has been without a dishwasher for two months now. And we still do not have a working dishwasher!!! Caveat emptor!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Flickering Touch-screen

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have the flickering touch screen controls as so many others have reported. Our unit is only 15 months old, but out of warranty. Controls on the left side are flickering and cannot be used. Reading other reviews, it seems the control board is defective and needs to be replaced. Another issue is the soap pellet does not dissolve completely. At the end of a wash cycle there is still part of a soap pellet remaining in the dispenser that has not completely dissolved. We thought we were getting a high end dishwasher, but that's obviously not the case.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I appreciate the stainless steel interior, the inside light, and silverware drawer. No one ever gets tired of seeing the light projected on the floor indicating minutes left or cycle ended. Best of all, it cleans everything. The jury is still out on the 'wave' technology for cycle selection.
