Dishwasher may have higher IQ than owner

Could this dishwasher be any smarter?? I think not. It senses how intense the wash cycle should be....on its own! Seriously?? Yes. This kitchen appliance is amazing....AND...looks beautiful & sleek. I truly never thought I'd be so excited about any appliance in my home but man oh man....this has been a game changer! The best part...no wait, a great feature but not the best, it's so darn quite! My last DW was so old and loud we literally had to leave the house to have (hear) a conversation. Not anymore...(although now we are forced to talk to each other AND listen.) ;-) Lastly, may be my favorite feature, the "light display" on floor when in use....AWESOME and so cool! (Ours did stop displaying after about a week but had repair done, loose wire connection, and is working like a charm!) Just love this dishwasher.
I would recommend this to a friend!

So disappointed with this dishwasher.

Scheduled an appointment to have it the control panel fixed and for two weeks it worked fine, now for the last two you can't even change the selections on it. the left-hand side just flicker constantly. Waste of a lot of money and now another day of vacation off of work to get it fixed.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

It does the job

Some may find this picky, but on a fine upper end appliance, why would there be a giant sticker on the inside of the door? Why couldn't that info be on a big tag attached to the drawer. The stainless is beautiful & the sticker mars the appearance. Bad marketing.

Very good dishwasher

I wish my water bottle would fit in the middle rack so I can put it over a sprayer. I wish the top rack was a better fit for my silverware or that I could put more knives up there. I wish items in the top rack got their undersides cleaned better (water from the top reaches these items fine and does a great job, but water from the bottom seems to not make it that far).
Given those reservations, though, I'm still very happy with my dishwasher (I've had it for just over 3 months). We very throughly looked at all the models at 4 different stores and this one had the best features.
Once I figured out how much detergent to put in the dispenser, my dishes have come out clean with no spots or streaks. I don't use the rinse aid, although I tried the freebie that came with the dishwasher,and I disliked the film it left on my dishes. I haven't noticed a difference in the amount of water left on my dishes. I never used heat drying on my previous (very very old) dishwasher, so dishes being wet isn't a concern of mine. I was "warned" by a couple salesmen about newer dishwashers not having heating coils which means there's no heat to dry them. I just crack open the door for a short while after it's done and they're dry. The couple of plastic items that stubbornly hold onto the water, I put in a dish rack (although, I could just get a towel and dry them manually).
The most important question is: does it clean my dishes and does it function properly? Yes and yes. Newer appliances don't seem to last as long as their non-computer-aided forerunners, so I purchased an extended warranty, but I hope I don't need it.

Quiet Cleaner

The dishwasher has nice features - 3 racks which are easily adjusted, light on the bottom to tell if dishwasher is running, very quiet, digital controls, and seems to clean well. It was not too hard to install. One small negative is that when you add dishes you can hit the digital buttons and accidentally turn on the dishwasher.

Great dishwasher

We bought it when we moved into our new home. All my appliances in my other house were Electrolux except our dishwasher. So when we moved we replaced all of the existing appliances with Electrolux. The dishwasher is so guiet and has features to cover any type of dish cleaning problem you could have. I love it.

We have a similar Electrolux dishwasher in our other home. This one has better design features. We love the LED time indicator on the bottom door. Great idea!

Two service calls in first month

I have had to have it serviced twice in the first month for an i50 error code issue. Gave me the error code right out of the box. When it does work it cleans well. Not as quiet as I would have liked but not too bad.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
