What a BIG mistake

Bought this dishwasher from the recommendation of the dealer. Purchased on Feb. 6, 2015. On Dec. 26, 2015 my problems started. Dishwasher wouldn't finish with its cycle and displayed an error code of .20. I called my dealer for service and they had to make three different service calls to fix it properly. They had to replace the main control board, pressure switch, drain pump, pressure sensor. That fixed the problem until Nov. 7, 2016. Called for service a second time to replace the pressure switch. Same error code The pressure sensor has been replaced twice and it appears it needs to be replaced a third time along with a new Control Board for the second time. Same error code .20. Electrolux has requested the technician call tech support at Electrolux and walk through the repair. After the second repair I requested a different model dishwasher be exchanged and the dealer said Electrolux wouldn't authorize it. This is totally unacceptable. I was told by the dealer that they needed to repair it for the third time before a replacement would be authorized. I think were into California Lemon Law territory. If it were up to me I'd take it out back and set it on FIRE. For the money I spent I could bought a real dishwasher. Miele. The sad part is my warranty is up in two months. If the dishwasher fails again I will be contacting my local ABC channel 7 TV station "7 On Your Side" and let them deal with Electrolux. Along with the dishwasher we also bought a Refrigerator, Range and Microwave all Electrolux. We spent thousands of dollars with there products. I will NEVER buy another Electrolux product as long as I live and I'll make sure my friends don't either. The only positive is the dishwasher is very quiet and does a good job cleaning WHEN it works.

Product broke twice within first 6 months of use

Purchased this appliance June 2016, control panel started flickering and worked on and off within first few months of use. Then started getting i20, i30 error codes. Repairman came over a month ago, still waiting for replacement parts to arrive, dishwasher can no longer be used. This is not normal for a dishwasher of this price and for this to occur within first year, or even first 5 years of use!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great features!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We just remodeled our kitchen. After doing our research, we decided on Electolux for all our new appliances. We are very happy with our selection. This dishwasher is like no other. It is very efficient in cleaning, has great options and is so quiet. I have never heard of or seen a dishwasher this quiet
that you can't even tell it is running. The time and end light showing on the floor is wonderful and a great option. When our guests realize that the dishwasher is running, they are in awe with the silence. The Electrolux appliances add elegance to our "new kitchen".

Good Cleaning - Poor Durability

Dishwasher cleans dishes quite well, but takes 3+ hours to get the job done. After a year and 3 months (past warranty), the lights on the control panel began flashing uncontrollably and the panel could not be used. Had it serviced and the units wire was too short that it was pulling out. Unit is up and running again, but only time will tell if the wire will back out again. Seems to me this was missed in the design.

Needed a new control board after only 1 month!

This may be a good dishwasher, but we got a dud. Still waiting for the new control board...so not even sure if that will solve the problem. We have only owned the dishwasher for 1 month!
Also, we got this one, over another dishwasher of another brand that we were considering, because we liked the cutlery rack. After using it for a month, I don't like the 3rd rack. It makes the height on the other racks smaller. For example I can't put a regular sized spatula in the silverware basket...the height keeps the spray arm from rotating and dishes don't get clean.
Wishing we would have gone with the other quieter dishwasher rather than this one with the 3rd rack.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

When I built my new home I really wanted to stick with the brand I'd been used to and had very good luck with. My builder and supplier highly reccomended Electrolux and told me they would replace it with my old brand after 6 months if I wasn't completely satisfied. I couldn't reall g go wrong with that offer, so I gave Electrolux a shot. The clean is just as good if not better and the drying is quite amazing.
I would recommend this to a friend!
