Looks beautiful but very loud

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This item looks very nice and moves a lot of air, consequently it is very loud. I also don't like how the lights are in the very back of the hood. Instead of shining on the cooktop they seem to shine on the wall behind it.

Great operation and looks! SOOO loud!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This hood came with our new house. It is a true vent to the outside, it really does a great job! We upgraded the lights to an LED bulb and love it. Our only complaint is that even on the lowest speed...you can't hear yourself think. At just over a year old, we also just noticed that all the markings under the buttons just seemed to rub off and disappear. Obviously still usable, and I know what button does what....but really?

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great unit, goes well with Frigidaire Professional suite of appliances. Noise from fan a bit excessive. Perhaps a small redesign with some heat proof insulation could be beneficial in the mounting stack.

Very noisy and flimsy

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The hood mostly does what it's meant to do, but still not very happy with it.
It is extremely noisy, even on the lowest fan setting, but deafening on the highest setting.
The filters don't line up correctly when installed, and the whole thing appears to be made out of extremely thin and flimsy metal.
Disappointing.

Sleek and elegant.

Poor quality

I got this when I purchased the new home from the builder. I rarely used it because it is so loud and makes me a headache. The fan is stopping working after 13 months. They said It is out of warranty and nothing they can do about it.
