Horrible....sounds like a turbo jet engibe

Had a house built and didn’t have a choice of appliance manufacturer. The hood vent sounds like a jet engine. Too loud to use. Our builder told us that “they are all like thIs”. Unacceptable.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Noisy

Sleek design, terrible noise

We are so disappointed our builder selected amd installed this hood. The noise is worse than most commercial kitchens I have been in. We cannot hold a conversation while using it and have opted to risk the smoke detectors acticating instead of using this while cooking. Frigidaire, come on!

Looks great but loud

As another reviewer pointed out, this hood is seldom used due to it's noise level. Even when sitting several feet away it affects the volume of conversation as well as that of the television.

Thank you for your feedback. With several powerful fans blowing simultaneously, it is expected for the range hood to make some noises while running. The projected sound level is between 58.5 and 69.9, depending on the speed setting, or about the same sound level as a hairdryer. We understand this can be bothersome for some consumers and are happy to document your concerns!

Motor broke twice in two weeks - needs replacement

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am not very happy about this product as the motor broke twice in two week and the product was less than a week old. I had to spend almost entire holiday season with out a vent .

VERY LOUD

Louder than a vacuumed cleaner. You cannot hold a conversation in the kitchen even when on low. How anything like this makes it to market is amazing. A definite do not buy.

Worst product ever

replaced 2 motors in less than 12 months. I m very unhappy with this purchase. Customer services takes a lot of time.
