I have an Otter Box on all of my devices. I have multiple iPads, iPods, and iPhones. I got the iPhone 6 instead of the plus because of this case. The case is not as bulky as the Defender cases. I am concerned though because I have always had extra screen protection having Defender cases. This case has nothing over the screen. My biggest concern at this point is the battery life. I am not on my phone for my job, but I do use it on and off throughout the day. I have to use the back up battery by 2 pm everyday and by 10 pm I have to charge the phone and the case again. I just got the iPhone 6 at the beginning of July, so you would think that the charge would last longer? If the charge lasted longer I would definitely recommend this case to a friend.

Based on consumer research and testing, we opted for a more direct interaction with the iPhone by not including a screen protector on the Resurgence case. As far as getting things amped up . . . how fast and how far the Resurgence charges your iPhone depends on how much charge is on the case, how you use your device while charging, and how low the charge is on the iPhone battery. If you use the iPhone for music, streaming video, mapping or other uses, the case may deplete its charge before the iPhone can reach 100%. In addition, when the iPhone is completely discharged or has very low charge remaining, it is not possible for the Resurgence to bring the iPhone back to 100% even if this case is fully charged. For best results, you will want to use your Resurgence case to keep the iPhone battery as full as possible.

I bought this a few months ago and I absolutely love this case. It charges my phone to a full battery and I don't have to plug it in all day which is very convenient and nice. Would recommend this case to anyone who has a hard time keeping a charge all day. Love otter box products and would never buy anything else.

I just got a new iPhone 6s shortly before Christmas. When I was looking for a possible battery case for the phone I discovered the Otter Box Resurgence Case. The light-weight case is sleek, as sturdy as you expect Otter Box to be and a beautiful addition to my phone. The case is easy to charge with the iPhone inside, and more than doubles the amount of battery power available. Since I frequently stream things through the phone this case is exactly what I was looking for. I will recommend this case to anyone who needs extra power and protection.

This charger is outstanding when it comes to its primary functions---protection and additional power. However, when I removed the phone from the case the first time, the toggle switch for the ringer broke. I'm still able to use a small object (paper clip, etc.) to turn the ringer on and off, but wish the construction was better so that the toggle switch would not have broken.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I am just purchasing my second Resurgence case and I felt this needed a review. It is the perfect balance of a rechargable and a drop protectant case. There are some things that the case could improve in. The toggle switch for the ringer on and off breaks off pretty easily (within a month) and the adapter for the aux cable, Don't lose it because it's difficult to come accross another one. (Iphone headphones will fit in case without adapter) so i just leave the aux adapter in my car on my aux cord.
One thing I enjoy about this case is the versatility in charging. With the case on you use a standard micro USB 2.0 cord (android cord) and if you're at someones house and forget your cord and you're all out of extra battery, and all of your friends are iphone users you can just take the case off and still charge your phone without the case.
OtteBox really made such a genius case with this one and I honestly believe they are in the process of discontinuing it because it is too good. Company's want consumers products to break so they will keep buying newer ones. Well with this case you can expect at least a year if not longee with no issues on this case.
DON'T DISCONTINUE. WE LOVE THIS CASE
