Ok I purchased this and altho the black was discontinued I am happy enough with the gray. I decided to try it because I have had an otterbox Defender for so long and I stand by that model 100% for drop protection.
I will start with the Cons:
Doesn't use the apple lightening cord, so it is neither convenient nor does it charge as fast
Charging port is awkwardly placed
Doesn't have built in screen protector, which I was used too with the Defender but isn't a make or break since I can easily get the glass protector and not have any issue. But it is just what I could consider a con.
- I feel like this would have been AMAZING had they kept the charging port at the bottom like where the phones charging port is and just had it use a standard apple lightening charger. That would truly make this perfect and outstandingly well designed.

Pros:
Charges quickly - goes from about 2-14% to about 85% just about as fast as being plugged into the wall, sometimes I think faster. It does not take long AT ALL to charge.
Multi Charges - I can typically get about a full charge and a half out of one full case charge. I will usually get it back to 100% then I usually have enough juice left to get it back to about 60% a second time.
Drop Protection is fantastic - I would rate it on par with the defender for drop protection. I am HORRIBLY clumsy and drop my phone twice a day if not more, and it holds up and keeps my phone from being damaged like nobodys business.
You can use a glass screen with this model - for those who prefer the glass to plastic this is a nice advantage.

I guess that is pretty much it, outside of the charging port location and non standard lighting cord, I have zero complaints. Overall I am quite pleased with this case and have recommended it to anyone that will listen lol. Hope this helps!

Had trouble with the on/off ringer, but it was installer error. Pay attention to the directions. Had to uninstall to install my Alpha glass. Which made an amazing duo. Product is thicker than an iPhone 7 with a bumper case but that is the price you pay to have a always charged phone. Love it anyway.

The case meets and exceeds my expectations. It is rather sleek compared to other charging cases. It is easy to use and holds a great charge to completely charge my phone once it gets low on battery. The case was shipped very quickly.

I bought this during Black Friday, and I was so excited because I love otter box cases. However, this case does not charge all the way barely even once. Also, the case is really hard to take on and off. As a result, my case is already broken in 2 or more places. Honestly, I do not recommend this case, and especially, not at full price.
