Great structure for durability. While difficult to get apart, this also lends some relief that when dropped, the case won't fall apart. Battery pack up is excellent and charges the phone quickly. Downsides are that the case requires a separate charging cord, so it is not compatible with the iPhone 5 thru 6 cords. The other downside is there is no screen protector on it like the defender series has, so you need to spend extra to get a screen protector.

This case is by far the best case yet from OtterBox! It basically doubles the length of your battery life, completely protects your iPhone from accidental damage, and its slim design ensures that it's not too bulky in your hand, or in your pocket. I highly recommend this case to anyone!

The Resurgence case certainly lives up to it's name! Usually I have to recharge my phone every day and a half, but since purchasing this case I've not had to recharge my phone yet and it was charged on Friday the 12th. I don't do a lot of streaming data, but I do text, take pictures and send and receive them, check email, and use my phone occasionally in place of my Kindle. The case isn't huge, my iPhone 6 still fits in the slots in my handbags without a lot of difficulty, and it still is easy to use as far as function goes. Simple to recharge when necessary, probably in the next day or so. Great Job, Otterbox, I am very happy with my purchase.

I've had Mophie as well as a couple of other impersonators, but the Otter Box extended battery pack is the best by FAR. I used to go through about three Mophies a year because the charging connector always goes south. Zero problems with Otter!

Much better than the new Mophie case

I initially bought the Mophie Juice Pack Air for my iPhone 6 as I've had Mophie cases for 2 of my other iPhones. I expected it to not be super protective, but the Mophie case just seemed extremely vulnerable. I'm a very heavy user of my phone, so I knew I needed some type of battery case. Luckily I was able to find the Otterbox Resurgence the next day, and it felt so much better. The rim around the screen for face down protection was one of my biggest issues with the Mophie case, but the Otterbox is much better. In general it just feels a lot safer in this case. My only gripe with the Otterbox case is that it is somewhat difficult to get on and off, and I frequently take it out for exercising. I'm also hoping that in the future Otterbox will offer different colored faceplates that you can buy separately, because I'm so bored with having an all black case already!
