I've purchased Otterbox products in the past and been generally satisfied but this Resurgence case is garbage.
-The charging system is confusing and you can't tell if it's on or not except via the phone.
-The case is flexible, if you twist it you can see the imprint of the battery on the inside. I'm half scared of electrocuting myself.
-Plastic construction, feels cheap

A good combination of phone protection, extra battery power and good looks. It works exactly as advertised, doubling my battery time. I haven't exactly thrown it out the window to test for shock, but it's great protection against bumps and scratches without excessive bulk or weight.

The battery case is great and I almost can go two full days of my normal use which involves checking email, social media, videos, calls/text, and using apps all day.
My only problem with the case is the micro usb port because not all micro usb plugs are made the same each have little differences of shape and size. So when you try to use different micro usb plugs for the case you will need to look for a long and thin plug. If you don't have the right plug I have had micro usb cables plug in but not charge or it was the case port that was too small for the micro usb cable to fit in.
Other then that it is a great case when you find the right micro usb cables to use with it.
