Immediately sent it back, the product cost to much money so as not to have its own screen. The nightmare of cleaning and placing a separate screen no way. Ordered a defender... Now I am happy. Would I have liked the extra battery life sure... But not at the expense of messing with a separate screen. If you buy resurgent, get rid of it and re-order defender series..
Difficult to install, bulky and a very overpriced piece of plastic for what you get. There are much better less expensive options out there.

Opening Case;Charge Life of Case; recharging case

It took two days for me to remove my Iphone from this case. It was difficult. It shouldn't be that difficult to retrieve your phone. 2ndly, charging the actual case has not worked. I have not received a full charge of the actual case for maximum benefit. Once, Iphone was finally removed from case, I've commenced to charge case independently and case still has not charged. Poor design, poor charging capabilities. Case design for removal of device should be simple, there needs to be an actual on/off switch for charge case simplicity. I want a refund and I'm going back to the competitor.

Hi Needprotection,
We’re sorry to hear that you’ve been having so much trouble with the removal of your device from the OtterBox Resurgence case! We definitely want to make sure that your phone is secure inside the case for maximum protection, but you shouldn't feel like you’re having to break into Fort Knox to get your device out. Although it does require a bit of pressure to separate the lid and base, if you start at the top and then work down, you should be able to get your phone free in just a few moments. We’ve added a link here to our YouTube channel on installation of the case for your reference. As to the issue that you’re having with charging the case, please give our friendly Otters a call at 1-855-688-7269, and we can patch you through to one of our Resurgence specialists to see what can be done to get this thing jump started and all juiced up!
Broke 3 fingernails trying to take it off and was afraid I was going to break the phone

Case does not charge

First off the case does not stop at 100%. Without use of the phone it continues to show the charging symbol when at 100%. My battery case constantly shows that it is at 1/4 battery percent life. Even when i hold the button for 1-3 seconds it will not stop charging the phone.

Case is good an protective but it only charges when it wants to. Phone charges fine, then you go to use the power in the case and it may or may not have charged the night before with your phone

Hey Shatto,
No power surge when you’re expecting it from your Resurgence? Are you by chance using a different USB cable than the one packaged with the case? That can sometimes make a significant difference in this function. If this isn't part of the equation, then go ahead and give our friendly Otters a call at 1-855-688-7269, and we can get you through to one of our technical experts. They will be able to help figure out what’s going on and how we’re going to get this thing working right for you!
I got this a few weeks ago for my teenage son and my birthdays. It makes the phone quite a bit heavier than before, but I can deal with that if it means more Pokemon Go time. That game eats up battery time and dead iPhone makes my 7 year old sad. The thing is, you have to request the charge go from the backup battery into your iPhone. You do this by pushing a button. If you DON't do this, you could conceivably hold in your hand a dead iPhone with a fully charged back up battery without realizing it. My 7 year old showed me that you have to push the button to charge the iPhone. It just seems that it should be a little automated. Am I asking too much?
