Would be better!

Awesome case but it would be better if it had a built in screen protector I usually use the defender cases but I thought I would try this because of the extra battery life. Needles to say not having a built in screen protector is a little disappointing.
I would recommend this to a friend!

We have gone through 3 charger cases and my daughter in is high school and this product will not hold a charge after 3 weeks

Decent battery pack but...

This has actually been a good battery pack. I have tried other brands for older model iPhones that weren't bad either. I would give 5 stars but there is an issue when recharging the battery pack. From time to time when I connect. The USB cord to the battery pack, the phone will indicate its charging then not charging. This will happen in quick succession until I either, power off the phone, reconnect the USB cable or the last resort, remove the battery pack from the phone Nd charge both separately. Which defeats the purpose. Unfortunately it has been probably just over the 1 year warranty. As I have had this issue for at least the last 8 months. My mistake for not jumping on this earlier.

I purchased two, one for myself and one for my son. I like the thin style that gives great protection. My son likes the extra battery life it provides the phone. The fact that the case uses a standard mini USB port/charging cable is a major bonus.

Problems charging, face breaks easy

I bought this and I've had to replace it 3 times in a year, the guaranty expired so now the face broke for the 3rd time and I'm just left with a broken bad product. The reason I have to remove the phone is to charge the case because the thing has a lot of fails charging with the phone even with the cable it comes with. On the other hand, easy to replace when it breaks.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We’re sorry that you are having some bad luck with the Resurgence case. We want to assure you that having difficulty charging the case and the iPhone together is not typical. Even though you are past the one year warranty window we still want to help out and get to the bottom of this charging mystery.

Normally as long as you use the USB cable that came with the case and the Apple wall adapter that came with your iPhone while plugging it into a regular wall outlet you should not have any charging issues. The iPhone should charge first and the Resurgence will follow.
