We also needed a water efficient unit that was easy to use and any idiot could manage. Not too tricked out and it does the job.

Does not clean dog hair off of the clothes. Dog hair still in drum. Run full wash cycle empty & when finished, still has dog hair in drum.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This machine works great at actually cleaning the clothes.
I have hard water and do not have a water softener. My other washer did not do as well as this done does at getting out the grime and oil stains.

We replaced an old machine with this one and could not be happier. The clothes come out clean, the machine is quiet and it is easy to use. We read all kinds of reviews of fancier machines and all had detractors. This is a good old fashioned get the job done machine!!

I do like this new clothes washer. It is quiet, and cleans well. The only negative thing is that it has a much longer cycle time than my old washer. It now takes longer to wash than to dry my clothes. This is not a really big deal for me now, however before I became an empty nester, the total cycle time was very important.

A good washer for the price

I have had the washer for about two months now. The model number is GTPW2000FWW. I would not consider this washer quiet. Once you start the wash cycle you cannot make nay changes for that load. The machine does a good job of washing the clothes. So far, the machine is worth the money invested.
