Quietly Surprised

We just replaced our 1990 GE Washer (and Dryer) with this model.
That's 23 years of daily service without a single repair to either unit. We're talking upwards of 10 thousand loads of clothes!
This unit is super quiet and smooth running. It has a larger capacity than the old one, yet uses significantly less water and power to run. The matching dryer is likewise excellent.
It's a plus that this washer does not require the newer HE Detergent. Either type works well.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I have a question on water level?

I just had this machine installed today 9/7/13. I have the water level set on Super and it only fills to about 6" of water. I don't see how this can possible get a full load clean the clothes don't even rotate in the tub. I can't rate this machine until I have and answer.

Like Everything But the Water Level

I am very dissatisfied that the water only fills halfway full. This does not save energy because I have to do 2 loads instead of 1.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Just installed this washer and it was fairly easy and required no special tools. The dials and settings are very user friendly and from our initial usage seems fairly quiet. At this point, we made a good decision and the price was within our budget.

I purchased washer on 9/20/2013 and am amazed at how quite it is. The pre-soak feature and stainless steal tube really are great.

Great washer for cheap price

I have owned this washer since Jan 28, 2014 and it works like a dream very quiet and does nice size loads uses half the water that our old speed queen washer used. Has basic functions but you don't need anything real fancy when you have a family of 6.
