I received the chopper for Christmas after throwing a party earlier in December and complaining about all the chopping I had to do making ceviche. I used it for the first time tonight and was very pleased with how it chopped garlic - but a little less delighted with the results of the onion and red pepper. The red pepper was mushy and the onion pieces were not consistent in size. I love all of my other Cuisinart products so am surprised to be a bit disappointed in this one.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I purchased this chopper about a month ago. Until my other one broke I never realized how much I used it! It is wonderful for chopping anything & everything - onions, peppers, artichokes, nuts, eggs. I could go on. Suffice it to say I will never be without one!
