I received the chopper for Christmas after throwing a party earlier in December and complaining about all the chopping I had to do making ceviche. I used it for the first time tonight and was very pleased with how it chopped garlic - but a little less delighted with the results of the onion and red pepper. The red pepper was mushy and the onion pieces were not consistent in size. I love all of my other Cuisinart products so am surprised to be a bit disappointed in this one.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I love Cuisinart products. However this is a piece of junk.
when chopping it spins very slow or not at all. You have to manually turn the chopper to get a fair dice.It is also hard to clean as the chopper can not be removed from the device to clean. Never came with any sort of use instructions.
