This is a great chopper. We had an electric one before (which broke) and we loved it. But, in comparison, this chopper is better. The previous chopper required that you remove the container from the base to empty the chopped ingredient. Also, it required hand washing. This chopper chops the item on the chopping board and then the chopper can be put in the dishwasher. So much better all way round.

Opening and closing the Push Chopper is annoying. A lot of the food gets way up in the blade and I’m afraid I’m going to break it so now I have to wash it out and strain in. I would not recommend this product.

Chops up onions, peppers, and garlic nicely. Tomatoes…nope. Defrosted jalapeños…nope, however slightly defrosted jalapeños work great. I think the softer items don’t work as well. I received this as a gift at my request due to recent thumb surgery. I’m glad I have it.

I've used this a few times since receiving it as a Christmas gift (2022). It works well but feels flimsy and cheaply made. I have concerns about it's durability. I would have expected a better quality from Cuisinart. The one I had for many years was made my Pampered Chef and had much more of a substantial feel.
