I’m extremely familiar with the Cuisinart name. But am disappointed in this product. Though I brought it to chop nuts. I first decided to use it for cilantro. I needed to chopped it up fine. Which it didn’t do. The blades don’t seem sharp enough. I did it for 3 minutes and still wound up using a chef’s knife to chop it fine. It doesn’t deliver what it says.

My 15 yo Pampered Chef chopper finally bit the dust. I ordered the Cuisinart one because of the brand. BIG mistake. The bowl is way too small. You can’t get the chopper clean despite putting it in the dish washer. I threw the packaging out because I THOUGHT it would be great. It’s not. I’ve already ordered and received the Pampered Chef version - MUCH better option.

I chop up my pups dry freeze dog food. She’s 13 yrs old and needs food that is easy to eat. The Cuisinart Push Chopper makes quick work of her food and Isabella thanks you!

I love it! I had one years ago but lost it somehow after multiple moves across country. I recently purchased a different brand from a thrift store and it was a terrible design, difficult to assemble and easily fell apart. So I purchased this one, and it works perfectly. Saves me so much time in the kitchen cutting ingredients to make my daily salad!

Tried to use this chopper on celery and immediately ran into problems. Chunks of celery kept getting caught in the blades so I had to stop and pull them out. Basically, I spent spent more time unjamming the vegetables than chopping.
I returned the chopper and bought a no-name chopper for 1/3 the price that does a better job and is much easier to clean.

The chopper is frustrating for 2 reasons: 1. The food chamber can detach from the base chopping plate. This spills everything. Easy solution --> have the food chamber screw to the base chopping plate. 2. The guide that controls the path of the chopping blade and wipes it clean on retraction, the black guide falls out of its snap-in location. This happens consistently. Solution --> engineer a positive connection, even a retaining pin, to hold the guide to the chopper. The blade is sharp and it is a task to re-locate blade through the guide for another use. This is a product issue needing a correction. Pros: Easy to clean. Strong stainless steel chopper with plastic chop-plunger.

I threw it out. It kept coming apart and barely chopped pecans. I've previously owned and Oxo, but have always had faith in Cuisinart. Not anymore, at least for small items.
