I used this chopper to cut up walnuts for applesauce bread and it worked perfectly. It is easy to use, easy to dismantle, and easy to clean. It was a good choice.

I had a chopper from another company that cut perfectly every time. This Cuisinart chopper takes multiple chips to get the onion or pepper partially chopped. Then pieces get stuck in the blades. I am not happy with it at all.

I was excited to try out this chopper I received as a gift. Needless to say, I was very disappointed. My first item I tried to chop was an onion. It got stuck between the chopping blades. I managed to pry it out. Then decided I couldn't put the whole onion in at one time, so I cut it into smaller wedges which still got stuck. So I cut them down even more and the chopper finally worked. Had I known i had to pre-chop everything before this chopper would work, I wouldn't have bothered. Next i tried a pre-chopped carrot. This got stuck as well and was too firm to use with the chopper. I found the chopper to be a waste of time. On the plus side, it is dishwasher-safe and cleans up well as long as you have pried out any stuck items first. It is easy to assemble as well.
