Ok for some chopping

It does ok for no fibrous chopping. Anything veiny or leafy doesn't chop well. Works well on garlic, carrots and potatoes. So so on onions, it smashes them instead of chopping.
I would recommend this to a friend!

The blades are okay but it doesn’t cut in pieces correctly. It gets stick sometimes and the pull handle doesn’t work properly. It needs a better redesign.

Works ok. I have noticed the blade assembly does not always change position between strokes. Cleaning is more difficult than I anticipated. The plunger could use a lock down function to expose the blade assembly for ease of cleaning.
Thank you for your review.

This chopper is okay. It does a nice job chopping nuts and can make them coarse or quite fine. However, it is nearly impossible to clean well. It also kind of broke the second time I used it, and the handle detached from the blades so they're no longer totally connected and kind of spin around. I was chopping Brazil nuts, which I think were too hard for the chopper, and it got stuck. I am disappointed in the quality. I can't believe it broke on the second use. Also, the base piece, that connects to the plastic on the sides and holds the contents in, falls off a lot and spills the food out. I am not happy with this at all.

Small capacity. Not very sturdy. Had a Pampered Chef chopper for years. The Cuisinart does not compare...

does not stay together and sin't sharp enough to chop thing cleanly. Should have spent the money on a new Pampered Chef Chopper; last one lasted 15 plus years.

Not the best chopper for sure

We had a pampered chef chopper that worked much better. The blades rotated as you chopped, which this chopper does not do making it much more difficult to get the size of dicing that is wanted. I have found that you have to manually spin the mechanism, which makes for a difficult process.

I bought this to chop onions. You practically have to chop the onions yourself before you can use this instrument. Biggest piece of junk and waste of money.
