I love Cuisinart products. However this is a piece of junk.
when chopping it spins very slow or not at all. You have to manually turn the chopper to get a fair dice.It is also hard to clean as the chopper can not be removed from the device to clean. Never came with any sort of use instructions.

This thing is all but totally worthless if you want to chop more than a tablespoon of anything that you haven't already cut up into small pieces with a knife. Not worth the bother and hassle of cleaning. I returned it.

Bought the chopper with high hopes (have had good luck with other Cuisinart products), but this was very disappointing. Tried it with the base it came with and on a cutting board. Tried it with a handful of herbs and with a much smaller amount of herbs. Bottom line is that it was very disappointing purchase. It did not chop the herbs properly and with things like parsley and fresh basil, it only bruised the leaves without cutting through them.
Still looking for a good herb chopper!
