Although this is a Cuisinart, it does not chop fine with leeks or scallions. I have a LOT of Cuisinart items I my kitchen and think this is the worst I've ever purchased. The bottom should be bigger for but if you need a small amount but large this does not work well. It's also VERY NOISY!

Some genius thought it would be a good idea to make the bottom of the cup removable.
Well it does not stay on very well.
The two times I have used it the bottom has come off and the food I am chopping ends up all over the counter.
If I had not already thrown the box away I would return it.
I will probably end up throwing it away.

Place small amounts in chopper, and allow full recoil for maximum chopping with this . Faster is no alway better.

Pretty easy to use but make sure to remember how it goes together after cleaning the plastic black piece that covers the blades has a tab that has to be down pointing to the cutting base. Duh I made that mistake and couldn’t figure out what was wrong until I checked the assembly instructions. Simple true but an old man can do some stuff!!!!!
