Quiet, Reliable Operation

I've had my Electrolux Washer about a month now, and am really impressed with it! The unit is so quiet and uses such a small amount of water. My clothes come out smelling better than with my old top-load washer! The time it takes to do laundry is significantly shorter too!
I would recommend this to a friend!

8 months in broke

I am very knowledgeable about front load washers, and I was in a service department for these appliances. Right no, after taking very good care- not overloading, using HE brand detergent, using clean cycle, wiping out seal after wash, etc - my washer's drum has come off the rotating bearings and is now grinding the rubber seal into shreds when it spins. Either I purchased the one washer with a manufacture error, or this could not be a good purchase.. Either way, I have a family of 5 to wash for and I am waiting parts on an entire drum, bearings, the casing around the drum, and rubber seal....
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Worthwhile upgrade

We purchased these to replace an older set of front-loaders we had purchased in the early 2000's. Now that our kids are grown and are young adults still living with us, my Wife would frequently find herself doing about 10 loads of laundry per week. With our new additions, she's been able to cut that amount in half and the wash cycles take less time than our older machines did. After doing the first load of jeans in the new machines, she said she never saw them come out so clean. I actually got a charge out of her reaction to the new machines. It almost seems like laundry isn't such a chore any longer. In fact, she was looking for additional things to wash when she had completed the normal, weekly loads. We are very happy with the quality of the machines and would recommend them to others. We're sure they will serve us well for many years to come..

Too Early to Tell

Had to replace our 10 year old washer and dryer and am 2 weeks into the new Electrolux. So far so good. Works great with more features that I will ever use. It is much quieter in spin mode than my previous washer.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I am pleased with the variety of wash settings and options. It is quiet even on a high speed spin. The clothes come out very clean even on the "Fast Wash" setting.
