Love this washer

We recently purchase this washer and the corresponding dryer and love them both. We had an issue with the washer when the washer stopped working. We were told that the motherboard (computer) needed to be replaced but in fact it hadn't been screwed in properly at the factory. Other than that issue, the washer has been great. I'm not sure about the 2nd-floor guarantee though. The spin cycle is still pretty loud and makes the walls shake.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great choice says happy customer

The washer does a great job of washing clothes. There are more settings than one ever needs, but hey, the marketers got hold of it. How much of a difference is there between normal, casual and mixed? But they each get a setting. The door switched sides with no problems. (Really good instructions for that switch.) Happy with the purchase.

Too many buttons, not enough control

I wanted to like this machine, I let my shop talk me into the top of the line, and they assured me that all those buttons would allow me to set everything the way I wanted it. Nope. They're just flashing lights to show me what the settings on the knobs are requiring me to do. No extra spin cycle, delicates only spin on medium so they're still very soggy, the list goes on. Plus their suddenly seems to be a lot of wear on the clothes, must be a lot of friction in the drum. I can't believe I'm eager for my machines to wear out so I can try again!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Not what we expected

We are a retired couple and we splurged on the washer/dryer set in February 2015. We were told by the salesman that the washer was very quiet. That proved to be very untrue. The washer is super loud even when we shut the laundry room door. The motor on the dryer burned out after 3 weeks and luckily, the set was still under warranty. We do like some of the wash features however, we do wish we had not spent the extra money to purchase this set. Of course, we were told that there has never been any reported problems with this Electrolux set purchased at the store.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Has a very futuristic look and has many cycles

This is a very nice washer with lots of cycles and a futuristic look. It is easy to figure out and use, and seems very efficient, runs quiet. I do not like the door as it is hard to close if not done "just right" pushing in the exact location to close and open. Most of the cycles use warm or hot water, so there should be more cycles with cold wash and rinse. You can design your own favorite cycle though. You need to wipe the door and inside seal after the last load to prevent mustiness in the drum. Overall, a nice washer to use and look at!

Bells and whistles that really work!

I've owned my Electrolux washer since September and I can't live (or wash) without it. I have two dogs and I especially like having the allergen feature to wash out the pet dander. Also the clean machine feature is great and really cleans the machine and gasket. This machine was definitely worth the money. It makes washing clothes a breeze!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Good and Bad features

The washer does a good job of getting clothes clean but it takes time to learn how to use it as unlike the older washer that you just threw in clothes, added laundry detergent and hit start...this machine has many buttons that need to be understood. Biggest complaint being you are told to keep washer door open to avoid mildew smell, etc. But the door only stays wide open which puts it in the way of walking past.
