Quiet, efficient machine

This is my first front load, digital washing machine. Once I chose the load description, the water & spin settings automatically are set for me. The light inside the barrel is an added amenity. It is so quiet when operating that it doesn't interfere with regular household activities.
I would recommend this to a friend!

The title says it all. It is quiet, fast, good cleaning and lots of usable programmes. I wish my old washer had broken down years ago so I could have had this one to use for much longer. Easy to understand the programmes, and keeping it clean is easy. A small complaint, the door only stays fully open, so you just can't leave it ajar. Not a huge problem in my laundry room.

Most Accommodating Array of Options

I've read the manual and have enjoyed the machine for six months now, but I'm still regularly amazed by the wide range of options when choosing a wash cycle. Not only are there a myriad of choices for "regular" types of washes, the specialty cycles are brilliant and make a veritable wish list come true. Thank you, Electrolux for your intelligence, creativity and common sense. Your washing machine is a dream to work with.

just about perfect

Like all front load washers, you MUST leave the door ajar when not in use and wipe the gasket dry after last load of the day. This keeps the machine dry between uses and prevents mold growth.
The extra capacity allows me to reduce the number of loads washed by 35-40%, which results in savings of time, energy, and water. There are more programs than anyone could want, so many that I'd strongly recommend that new owners invest some time in reading the manual so they are familiar with the myriad feature.
I have to stack the machines, due to the configuration of the laundry area. One advantage of Electrolux is that they are only 38" tall, so they can be stacked without the top of the dryer being too high off the ground. Other larger washer brands are 40" or more tall, which will make the controls over 6'8" off the ground when stacked. The doors can be reversed on both the washer and dryer to fit different laundry room configurations.
Best of all, this machine gets your clothes CLEAN.

My New Washing Machine

I just purchased my Electrolux washing machine after my Whirlpool machine broke down. I have a large household, so having an efficient washer is really important. The Electrolux gives me so many options which make the chore of dealing with laundry a much nicer one. The options for cycles save me a lot of time - also a plus, and my clothes are less wrinkled and clean when they come out. I recommend this washer to anyone who is n the market for one.

Great features. Happy with the performance though, only had it two months. doors opened the wrong way and had to change them .... pretty easy to do with good instructions and parts fit together well. Happy with our choice.
