Love Electrolux

I love the quality and quietness of my Electrolux Washer. In the area that I live in water and electric rates have been going up, up, up. Yet, I save so much money by being able to adjust the water level and wash time specific to each load. That in addition to the fact that the washer is already saving water. I'm proud of the beauty of the washer and how easy it is to keep clean! I even use less detergent and softener! I could go on and on but I'll control myself. By the way, I love the commercials with Kelly Rippa, they are so cute!

Love my Electrolux!

Purchased the electrolux washer and dryer set to replace my 15 year old Whirlpool set. What influenced my buying decision was that this is the only product on the market that has the reversible door for the washer. My washer has always been on the right so, I needed the door to open towards the dryer that would be placed on the left in my laundry room. I have done extensive research and considered the LG brand and the Samsung brand. I couldn't be more happier with my decision to buy Electrolux. I love my Electrulux! I have reduced the number of loads of laundry. Because of the larger capacity drum (4.3), I can get more done in less time. I love the steam feature which has reduced the amount of clothing needing to be ironed. I researched all the other brands on the market and this was the best choice for me. It helped that I downloaded the product operators manual before my units were delivered. I think I may have known a bit more that my delivery/set-up guy. When he asked if had any questions, I said " well no, I've read the manuals already." The point is, the Electrolux washer/dryer is easy to operate, great to look at, and was worth the money compared with the other brands on the market in my local area.

Nice washer that failed in the first week

This product worked well for one week and then completely went dead. I am told by service that two boards need to be replaced. The company providing the repairs said that Electrolux would not help to expedite the parts and that I must work through distribution. It is very frustrating to have a new product completely fail in the first week. This is my first experience with Electrolux and I am not impressed.

This machine has surpassed my expectations. Having had top and front load machines of other manufacturers, I was delighted to be able now to stop a cycle and add an item to a load with this new machine. The ability to "fast wash" or "spin only" is also a setting I didn't realize I would use so often. The additional options of "Allergen",, "Sanitize" and "Add Steam " (shrink guard) have brought this machine into a new era and raise the bar for any future designs in the industry. The cycles are shorter in many instances, yet still perform to any expectations, while leaving less moisture and hence a shorter drying period, than was my experience with other brands of washing machines. Being able to stack full size washer and dryer has made it possible to redesign my whole laundry area. The quiet operation is a marked improvement on other brands of machines I have had - both top and front load. The buzzer at the end of the cycle is sufficient notice, (without being annoying) even if I am on the different floor of our home.

DO NOT BUY ANY OF THESE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I purchased this machine 15 months ago and it stopped working mid cycle tonight. My machine is now full of water and it will not drain, spin or function whatsoever. Basically "the lights are on but nobody's home". Because the machine is 3 month past a year from purchase i have to pay out of pocket to have machine fixed, although parts are covered bottom line, the machine is just 15 months old!!!!!!!!!!!! Furthermore, its just my wife and I using the machine, so this cant be attributed to over use. This Product is garbage.

Confused

We bought this appliance because of the Electrolux brand, I even convinced my mom to purchase a set, we have both now been disappointed. On both of our washers the piece that opens the compartment to put the soap in has broken. I had to move my washer away from the wall so I can get my fingers on the side to open it now...my mom has the same problem. Also the perfect steam feature doesn't appear to do anything...the door randomly locks and you can't get it open, we had had to crawl behind it and unplug it to reset it so it will open. Cleaning it is another interesting point...I run the clean tub cycle and wipe down the inside per the instructions, but there are little holes at the front of the washer that have nasty things growing in them and I can't take it out..I have resorted to using qtips to clean them...not my idea of a good time.

Cuts laundry time down by 50%

We bought our Electrolux washer and dryer about two months ago when we remodeled our laundry area. We opted to stack them to have more room for laundry baskets and sorting in a small area. It has been life-changing! Before, I would have to do a load of laundry per day to keep up with our family of five's laundry. Now, I can double up on a load and have days that are laundry free! However, If I have a small load, the sensory will only use as much water as needed. Wonderful! Also, I washed all our comforters and bedding in it and I don't have the expensive fees of taking them to the Laundromat to have them cleaned. In addition, the washer stays balanced so if I wash rugs, the cycle completes on its own without me having to constantly open it up to keep the rugs balanced inside.
