Great Machine

We have now washed over 50 loads in the washer and I have to say that it is spectacular. We combined the unit with The matching Electrolux pedistals and aesthetic is striking.
The unit has great modes that are very easy to access from the button layout. The cycles are very fast and when compete, have spin so much moisture out of the load, drying is fast and predictable as well. Perhaps my favorite feature is the capacity, truly amazing. Now, for the most important feature....the clothes finish clean. This was a new sensation for my wife and I as our old machine was never really getting this done. This washer was removing old stains that our previous unit could never remove.
I would not hesitate to recommend this washer to anyone who wants a machine that looks, and functions perfectly.

Door issue

The door on the washing machine needs an option in degrees of "open" rather than the "spring loaded" door of 110 degrees. Since the manufacturer requires the door to remain open to prevent mold, this is almost impossible to achieve safely in a small space.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I really like this w/d set! So many choices. Really like the steam option, so handy if you don't remove items from the dryer when it stops. Really like the sanitizing option also. Only one thing it doesn't do is to just put through a longer spin if the wash is still a little too wet. Of course the height is great...not back breaking...so easy to access with nice large tumblers.

Enjoying it

So far I am enjoying the washer. I had heard mixed reviews of front load washers but with the redesign of our laundry room we had no choice. I chose Electrolux because I liked their cabinet design and lack of bulk for the size. i have not be disappointed. I have washed a king size comforter no problem. I do wipe down the rubber gasket after each wash and leave the door open. So far no smell or odor on clothing. I had to really cut back on the amount of laundry soap I was using. We have noticed how much cleaner our clothing seems to be. I am a massage therapist and love the sanitize option for my business laundry. i can also do 4 sets of twin sheets at a time which cuts back on the number of loads I do a week.

Great machine, the clothes are very clean and dry fast. The weight of the machine keeps it from becoming unbalanced which is a plus. I would buy another in a heartbeat.

I love my new washer, it's so quiet. You have confidence that the washer won't leak as it tumbles through the cycle, since you hear the door lock and seal as it starts working. No shimmying during rinse cycle, due to the stable technology.The appliance always leaves a soft aroma in the air. Clothes are gently tumbled clean and without excess water left in items to make the dryer work harder. Yes, I do recommend Electrolux , I did a lot of research before purchasing. My theory is buy once, not twice. Get the best and you aren't stuck with replacing a bad purchase sooner than later. Buy quality ahead of cheap.

Best Washing Machine Eva

I am so happy we purchased this washer. I run a house with teenagers that play sports and their clothes and uniforms always need a good cleaning. This washer can handle it and uses enough water but is still eco friendly. The drum size is big and can take a large load of clothes and is done washing in 42 minutes. The washing machine is located on our second floor, so spin out noise and vibration have always been a concern. I can now do laundry at night, or whenever it works for me. It's awesome and we are really pleased with our purchase.

Efficiency

I was looking to replace my washer. Went to my local appliance store, told them what I needed. They recommended the Electrolux IQ-Touch. I needed to be able to change the door to open on the other side and Electrolux had that option. I've had my washer for about 5 months. The wash cycles are efficient and I love the way the washer selects the water temp, spin cycle and soil cleaning automatically, based on what type of wash cycle is selected.
