Noisey and drips water on the top shelf

This fridge is incredibly LOUD! I've read the other review responses from the company stating this is 'normal', I'd catorgorize it as 'maddening'! and it runs ALL day! I work from home, it's bellowing buzzing noise makes for a rough day at the office, which having for the last two months I am not 'used' to the noise level, yet. Also, the fridge, I'm guessing during its cycles leaves the top shelf in a puddle of water... Have had to throw a few things out due to becoming a soaking wet soggy mess.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Hi Washed up fridge, if you are noticing water on the top shelf could be a obstructed defrost drain tube. This happens due to the freezer drain line tube having frost build up in the opening. Simply defrost the freezer by turning the unit off and leaving the door open for approximately 30 minutes. After defrosting the freezer, make sure there are no obstructions in the back blocking the drainage way. Adjust the freezer temperature colder and the fresh food to cold. Hope this helps! Plenty of room in both the freezer and the fridge the optional ice maker makes tons of ice. We just love the fridge it is one of the best we bought in a long time!!

the title is the pros. now the cons: The shelves in the door are slanted. so all the bottles in the door bang back and forth when the door is opened and closed unless packed in very tight. I noticed the unit makes loud and unusual noises. I also have an eight year old, different brand, fridge that always runs very quietly.
I would recommend this unit if you don't mind the cons I mentioned.

I've had the fridge for 2 months. I'm very happy with this fridge. Lots of storage in the refrigerator and freezer. Runs quietly and efficiently. The door storage is more than enough.

Stops at the backs of shelves allow proper air circulation and prevent careless blocking of airflow. Pull forward feature of the main shelves in the refrigerator compartment permits the user to organize comfortably without having to crouch into the interior. Storage space in the doors of both compartments is ample and well designed. The pull-forward bins in the refrigerator are commodious. The divider shelf in the freezer compartment seems a bit willowy. This may serves to alert the user to place bulky but lighter supplies on it while positioning heavier items toward the sides of it, below the shelf at the bottom of the freezer, or in the freezer door compartment. I do wonder if drawing attention to this would be a plus or would detract from the overall impression. Certainly the flexing of that shelf does not suggest that it might bend or collapse. Nevertheless, a word of reassurance might help users who obsess over sturdiness.. We like the exterior finish. The positive clicking sound of the door closures, when not heard, can notify the user to rearrange the compartment contents to avoid interfering with the door's tight seal. Advise: "Close gently and appreciate the sound of the door sealing." Operation is quiet. Internal moisture control is good. A pleasing addition to the home.

Runs quiet. Had the optional icemaker installed. The crisper drawers are a little undersized, but overall, I am pleased with it and would purchase it again.

We needed a new refrigerator and after a remodel, we found we were very limited in space. We compared a lot of fridges and this one gave us the most storage space for the size. It works great and is quiet.
