Looks good and saves money

Needing a replacement refrigerator, we selected this unit because of the space, shape limitations within our kitchen cabinet configuration. Other models would have fit and maybe even been cheaper, but this one was "Energy Star". There was an obvious reduction in our monthly electric bill directly as a result of switching to this unit. It may take a few years, but the savings will eventually pay for the fridge.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Poor temperature control

This refrigerator would be totally acceptable if it were not for the wild and random temp fluctuations. With both controls set to normal, the temp was far below the acceptable range. Setting bot controls midway to max gave somewhat workable results. At one point, setting the temp control to full max had no affect. Turning it full off and then back seemed to restore operation. These fluctuations may occur multiple times in one day or it may operate several days without an occurrence. These observations were made using two new frig/freezer thermometers with rated accuracy.
I would recommend potential buyers to select a different model or brand.

Using a manual thermometer, will only read the temperature of where it is located and not over the whole refrigerator like the internal thermometer, which can cause the reading to possibly vary or be slightly off. Very roomy.

Very noisy! Sounds like there is ice being made and then the ice is dropping down the back of the refrigerator. There is NO icemaker and a service person already came and said noises are not unusual with this refrigerator.

Very quiet!!!

Bought this fridge due to width restrictions in my kitchen. Reading reviews on websites talking about the appliance being very loud got me worried. I can tell you that this fridge is extremely quiet!!!!!!! At first I thought there was something wrong with it but kept checking and everything was a perfect temp!!! Don't why those reviews exist. The ability to configure the side door is a very good feature and there is more than enough space in the fridge for everyday use. The negatives are that the door will swing all the way open (there is no stopper mechanism) and the freezer is a little smaller do to the larger fridge area. Also the freezer rack could be more study but not a deal breaker. Otherwise we are extremely happy with this purchase.

Disappointed

I bought this product because it is advertised for use in the garage. I have had mine a year and it does not maintain proper temperatures in the freezer.
I have been told Frigidaire is aware of the problem and working on an update to the software. I am hoping that they honor warranties that have passed the year mark since it is not the consumers fault.
