bought the fridge installed in jan never worked properly finally stopped cooling in feb hopefully repaired today 3-14-16

I thought this was the updated version of the black and stainless steel model we bought 12 years ago that worked beautifully. However this model does not freeze as well. I should have paid a little more and gotten a better fridge. Frigidaire use to be synonymous with excellence. Not anymore. Also there was some damage to some Styrofoam type piece in the back of the fridge. Disappointed.

I bought this Frigidaire after pricing refrigerators at 3 different stores. I chose this one because it met all of my needs and didn't break the bank.

Great size, cheaper construction, noisy

Bigger than it seems. No light in freezer, which is disappointing. Meat drawer is cheaper construction than previous. In general, it feels more cheaply built than the model I had many years ago. Otherwise it is practically identical. A bit noisier than expected. It's "fine", but not great.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I have a history of replacing all appliances with Frigidaire appliances because it is an old and venerable trade name. I am 74 years and have used Frigidaire all my life. They simply work!
